He was born on January 13, 1989, to the union of Sonja and Dennis Whittington Sr.
Dennis who was also known as “Sweez” to family and friends, was baptized at the age of 5 years old at New Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing drums at a young age. “Sweez” also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, music, and expressing himself in the studio making songs. Dennis “Sweez” was a LSU, 49ers, and Kobe Bryant fan. Dennis also enjoyed chilling, watching his favorite movies.

Dennis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Gertrud Brown Sr.; paternal grandparents, Thomas Johnson and Hannah Coleman; two uncles, Johnell Johnson and Leon Johnson; three aunts, Crystal Coleman, Jonette Johnson, and Sherita Johnson; two cousins, Braeden Brown and Pierre Johnson.
The Family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 9 AM until service time in the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 11 AM at Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Houma, LA.
