Daisy Mamie Williams-Anderson, 85, a native and a resident of Houma, passed away peacefully at 12:55 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 2424 Grand Caillou Road in Houma. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Augusta B. Anderson (Sylvia); daughters, Jacqueline A. Anderson and Robin A. Hartman (John); nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Augustus A. Anderson; great granddaughter, Trenity Rainey; parents, Andrew and Lettie Williams; sister, Bernice Williams; and nephew, Lester B. Brown, Jr.
