Daisy Beatrice Adams

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at New Magnolia Baptist Church, 427 Highway 311, Schriever, LA 70395. Burial will follow in Halfway Cemetery.

She is survived by: nine children: John Adams, Jr. (Viola), Charles Adams (Linda), Elitha Growe, Alma Dark (John), Carolyn Simmons (Joseph), Darlene Allen (Alex), Damaris Hayes, Avis Bartholomew (Nathan), and Arleen Colon (Ricardo); three sisters, Emma Brown (Clarence), Evelyn Williams (Arthur) and Carrie Adams (Lionel); one brother, Henry Brown; seventeen grandchildren; and thirty-five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, John Adams, Sr.; two grandchildren, Melodie Dark and Marcus Stoves, Jr.; her parents, Joseph Goff Brown and Elitha Walker-Brown; four brothers, Jessie, Irvin, Herbert and Wilbert Brown; and one sister, Essie Arsan.
