Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home, 230 N. Hollywood Road, Houma, LA. Burial will follow in the Buena Vista Baptist Church Cemetery in Lemonville, LA.
Coty leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Elisia Wyre Lewis (David); his wife, Bri'gette Wyre; one son, Bristian Sims; three stepbrothers; two sisters, Ashanta Wyre (Willie Jeff Jr.), Ondraontae Wyre; stepsister, Lisa Riley and three others; mother-in-law, Norma Roberts; nieces,Trinity Jeff, Armani Wyre, Precious Folse, and Patience Folse; nephews, Da'Quan Gray, D'Andre Rhodes, Willie "Nookie" Lorenzo Jr. and Keith Folse Jr.; grandmother, Joyce Wyre Nelson; uncles, Cleo Wyre, Sidney Wyre (Connie), Perry Earl (Suzette); aunts, Denise Thomas (Pastor Graylin), Harriet Shelton and Laura Ann Wyre; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
Coty was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Brooks; great grandparents, Willis and Elizabeth Wyre Sr. and Jim and Genevia Williams; uncles Willis Wyre Jr., Leo Wyre (Marion); aunts, Willis Mae Wyre, Dorothy Wyre, Delores Hall and Yvonne Mims (Eddie); and a niece, Ja'Niya Jeff.
