Visitation will be Saturday, April 8, 2023 at New Salem Baptist Church, Patterson, LA from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
Clifton leaves to cherish his memories; his wife Stella S. Lewis of Verdunville, LA., two sons, Dwight Scott of Houston, TX, and Gregory Solete of Patterson, LA; a daughter, Vidella Walton of Patterson, LA; five grandchildren he raised, Clifford Walton of Spring, TX, Virgil Walton and Cotina W. Batiste both of Patterson, LA, Gregory Smith of Verdunville, LA, and Brittany of Houston, TX; eighteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
