Christina McGuire

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at New Mt. Esther Baptist Church, 1213 James St., Morgan City, LA (Siracusa Area), from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Burial in the Morgan City Cemetery. Officiating, Pastor, Charles Oatis, Sr.

Christina leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, David McGuire of Morgan City, LA; a daughter, Yetevia McGuire of Baton Rouge, LA; a brother, Fredrick (Thelma) Short of Gray, LA., her dog, Bella McGuire of Morgan City, LA., two godchildren, Tawana McGuire and Michael Allen both of Houma, LA; five grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends.

Christina was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland Short and Catherine Ross Short Williams; a brother, Kevin Short, Sr., stepfather, grandparents, uncles and aunts.
