Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until Funeral Service at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home 230 South Hollywood Road, Houma, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Schriever, LA.
Carl is survived by three sons; Wilbert Guy, Carl Everett, and Carl Nixon, Jr. one daughter; Amariha Nixon, his loving companion; Tamani Guy, two brothers; Daniel Nixon, Jr., and Leroy Nixon, two sisters; Sharon Antoine, Erica Lynn Stewart, three grandchildren; Tre'Vontana Paul Barlow, Ci'anna Everett and Ah'Mir Canaan Jackson, two great grandchildren; Trace Paul Barlow and Tatum Amir Barlow along with a host of family and friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; Daniel and Doretha Nixon, Sr., one brother; Jerome Nixon, four sisters; Patricia Adams, Janice Williams, Marry Ann Nixon and Helen Philips.
