Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Living Gospel Church located at 140 Corporate Drive in Houma, LA 70364 with Pastor Reginald Glispy officiating. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by three sons, Marlon Francis of Humble, TX, Eric Francis of Lafayette, LA, and Aaron (Dominique) Francis of Cleveland, OH; daughter, April (Jermaine) Adams of Morgan City, LA; mother, Corine Parks of Pine Bluff, AR; sisters, Carolyn (Bryant) Harris of Detroit, MI, Gloria Hollowel of Las Vegas, NV and Eursalean McDonley of Pine Bluff, AR; brother, Elbert "Sonny" (Margaret) Parks, III of Pine Bluff, AR; and three granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Lee Parks, Jr. and sister, Dorothy Byrd.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
