

Viewing will be held on Friday November 11, 2016 from 12 Noon until Memorial Tribute Services beginning at 7:00 PM at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1738 L. B Landry Avenue New Orleans, LA 70114.
Viewing will resume on Saturday November 12, 2016 at the Regular Baptist Church 901 5th Street Gretna, LA 70053 from 8:00 AM until the beginning of the Fraternal Order of the Eastern Star services at 11:00 AM. A Celebration of the life of Beryl Dell Grant Ragas Service will be held at 12 Noon with Rev. Dr. T A Hodge serving as Officiant. Berdly will be laid to rest in the McDonoghville Cemetey in Gretna with her husband, the late Henry Robert Ragas following funeral services.
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Known to many as "Beryl Dell", memories of Berdly will forever remain in the hearts of her son, Duane Ragas and his wife, Angela of Denton, TX; her daughter, Beryl Dell Ragas and her husband, Lamone Covington of Algiers, LA; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Herman Grant of Franklin, LA, Donald Grant, Ronald Grant and his wife, Mary Ann of Algiers, LA and Erikston Grant of Oakland, CA; three sisters, Helen G. Griffin of Algiers, LA, Betty S. Nelson and her husband, Leon of Gretna, LA and Rita Young of Antioch, CA; one sister-in-law, Rhymi Grant of Algiers, LA; one aunt, Delores G. Justice of Harvey, LA, three brothers-in-law, Donald Ragas and his wife, Diane, Alfred Ragas and his wife, Estelle and Ronald Ragas and his wife, Ramona all of Algiers, LA as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Berdly was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Julius Grant, Sr. and Pearl Lewis Grant; her husband, Henry Robert Ragas, Jr.; three brother, Thomas J. Grant, Jr., Louis Walker and Melvin Walker and one sister Valerie G. Robinson.
As she gave to so many in life, Berdly's final gift to the world was the gift of being an organ and tissue donor. Her legacy of Love and Helping Others will live on in lives many more.
