Anna Mae "Granny" Lawson

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, 120 Hialeah Avenue in Houma. Burial will follow in Deweyville Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, EGerald Gauche (Janice) and Kenneth Gauche (Joyce); daughters, Sheila Patterson (Vernon), Sherita Johnson (Kenneth) and Christine Pharr (Dwight); thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Charles Scott (Walterine) and Donald Scott; sisters, Bessie Brown and Rosa Mary Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Lawson; former husband, Marion Gauche; son, Reginald Gauche; grandchildren, Tammy Williams and Pierre Johnson; parents, Leslie, Sr. and Ida Mae Matthews-Scott; brothers, Leslie Scott, Jr.; maternal grandparents, James and Hattie Winslow-Matthews; paternal grandparents, Broomfield and Annie Scott.
