Alma Mim Rollins, age 89, a native of Katy, La., and a resident of Jeanerette, LA died Monday, December 23, 2013 at 7:50 PM at her residence. Visitation will be Monday, December 30, 2013 at First Church of God in Christ in Jeanerette, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery in Jeanerette, La. Alma leaves to cherish her memories; a son, Rev. Dr. Edmond C. Rollins of Enid, OK; three daughters, Elizabeth Lovette Leopold of Lafayette, La, Dovie Lovette Benjamin and Linda Rollins Gibson of Jeanerette, La; three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, George Rollins and Mary Colar Rollins, a daughter, four brothers and sisters.
