Yvonne left this earthly home Monday, August 1, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones.
Upon graduating Peak High school in 1960 she attended Garland County Community College where she studied nursing and became a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Yvonne married Willie R. Lowe on June 4, 1990; married until his passing January 21, 200. Yvonne made St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Hot Springs, her ultimate church home, where Rev. D.R. Crossley was her Pastor, Serving there faithfully, until her health began to decline.
Yvonne retired from the former National Park Medical Hospital where she was an LPN for 47 years. After retirement, she worked for 10 years at the Garland County Juvenile Detention Center, as the center’s nurse.
Yvonne’s favorite things included her family, church, gardening, reading, Dillard’s, Red Lobster, and traveling.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Mannie Joshua, Mary Andrew, Charlie T. Duncan, Bessie Lacy, Lloyd Duncan, Judelia Dickerson.
Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory a son Larry (Shirley) Duncan, Hot Springs, AR; three daughters, Sgt. Rhonda Hadley, Audrey Guy, both of Hot Springs, AR; Anita (Terry) Clingman, Little Rock, AR, Step daughters, Norma Jean (Herb) Dobson, Donna Marie (George) Bamfo, both of Rockwall, TX, Gayle (Vance) Cuningham, Lisa (Michael) Cox, both of Jacksonville, AR, Sister in laws, Lillie Ruth Floyd of Arkadelphia, AR, Gurtha Duncan of Mountain Pine, AR. Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services for Yvonne Lowe will be held Monday, August 7, 2023 at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 542 Crescent Ave, Hot Springs, AR. Visitation at 11am followed by a Celebration of Life Services at noon.
Yvonne earthly resting place will be Crestview Cemetery-Hot Springs, AR.
