He was born July 4, 1946 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. William will be remembered for his love of antiques. He enjoyed flea marketing and sewing. He was self-employed as a tailor and had a bachelor’s degree at OBU College.
His mother, Edna Stewart (Fryar), Father George Stewart, Brothers Paul and George Stewart, and Sister Gerry Waslick preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Connie Stewart, Daughter Angela Pittman, Son in Law Ronny Pittman, Granddaughter Kylie Pittman, several cousins and a niece.
Pallbearers are Karl Creasy, Ryan Spencer, and Will Spencer.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at Gross Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 in Gross Funeral Home Chapel with Heather Clawitter officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery
