Dr. Schulte proudly served in the United States Airforce as a Colonel and served through many conflicts including WWII and the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was incredibly patriotic and loved his country; after serving in the military he and his wife relocated to Hot Springs where he opened his own oral and maxillofacial practice. Dr. Schulte enjoyed his work immensely until his retirement when he was able to hone his golfing skills. He was also a member of First United Methodist Church.
Meeting Dr. Schulte in Heaven are his parents; loving wife, Adona; siblings, Jean Davis and Thomas Allen Schulte; and niece, Karen Davis Ennis.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister-in-law, Diane Schulte; Holly Reed (Michael) and their children, Cayden Napier and Caison Reed; nieces, Linda Davis and Nancy Davis; nephew, Richard Schulte and nieces, Susan Schulte O’Gara and Sally Schulte Dulin; as well as fifteen great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his caregivers, Rose Beard, Tim Ferguson and Santana Hood for all of their care and support.
Per his request, Dr. Schulte will be laid to rest in a private ceremony next to his wife in Vandelia, Illinois.
