Life put us thousands of miles away and wanted me to meet my uncle Stanis when I turned 15, but with our first bear hug and his huge loving smile he immediately made me feel as if I had known him forever. 

Since that time in 1999 he made sure he was somehow part of all my most important steps in life, first internship, learning to drive, law school graduation, marriage, birth of kids, and so on. And every time I was struggling with something, I knew he would be there for me, he would get serious and give me advice. He would always push me to be my best, getting me out of my comfort zone, which sometimes, I didn’t like. “No pain, no gain” you would tell me, and I’ve kept that phrase in my mind whenever I felt like quitting. I wanted to make you proud of my achievements, and I knew you were.

Many times I felt that our different language was a hurdle, at least for me. You were patient and tried to help when I couldn’t find the right words, and respected my silence when words didn’t come out naturally. But we did spoke a common language, which is not expressed with words, but with our eyes, our smiles and our heartfelt hugs, and that was enough for both of us. 

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. For your care, your love, and your generosity. And thank you for all those beautiful moments I’ll always remember.

I will miss you tons, as I always said. But will always keep you close to my heart.

Sincerest condolences to the Garibay family.  Bill was one of the best!  Wonderful man to work with, honest, sincere, knowledgeable and friendly.  One of the best plant mangers I ever met.  So sorry for your loss, Bill will truly be missed.

I met Bill early in my career with General Cable. He always had time for me, taught me a great deal and has had a lasting impact on me and my career.  I have the utmost respect for Bill and consider myself blessed to have had the opportunity to work alongside him and call him my friend.   My deepest sympathy to Marty and Bill's family and friends;   I pray for peace and comfort for you.

Bill was always so kind an helpful no matter what u needed he would go out of the way to help u , he shard with Gerald their journey with Parkinson’s disease that they both so struggled with Bill u will always have a place in our hearts sweet friend 🙏🏻

Bill was the plant manager at my first job out of college.  He taught me the value of professionalism & mentoring.  I will always treasure the memories made working with Bill and my other "family" at the General Cable plant in Malvern!  I would like to send my condolences to Bill's family and friends during this time, and prayers for comfort and peace.

Marty, you know how much you two meant to me.  You were there when Jerry passed away and when Samantha graduated College and with other events in my life.   A sweet memory I have of Bill happened when my mom was sick.  She used to make fried pies and send to him and others at work.  I think he looked all over Hot Springs and finally found some to bring her.
His big smile and hers made my heart overflow!!

Bill taught me how to play Basketball. Coached me at the Boys Club, AAU, PeeWee. Awarded me my first ever trophy. As an adult he was someone I could go to for advice. A Father Figure, A Mentor, and Friend. I will miss you Bill, Thank you for being there for me. 

Best neighbor you could ask for.  We enjoyed our conversations at the fence very much.
He will be greatly missed!

I lived right down the road from Bill and was in the same class at Cutter, I remember we would cruise Hot Springs in his Corvette and sometimes maybe sip on a beer it's hard to believe he's past, condolences to Marty and family

Darryl and I send our love and prayers to you all! Mr. Bill was a great guy and was a awesome boss to my husband Darryl. I enjoyed watching him play softball at the General Cable tournaments. I would always tell him how good he was to be his age and he would smile at me and say Dee watch it. I didn’t work at General Cable but he treated me like I did and I was always welcomed to every get together. I am so thankful I got to meet him and was able to become his friend! Rest In Peace and you will be so missed. Love Dee
