

Uneda Savall Herron, 89, of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2015. She was born January 29, 1926, at Cedar Glades, Arkansas, to James Monroe Savall and Leatha Jane Graves Savall. She was a charter member, former Sunday School teacher, and a custodian of Leonard Street Baptist Church. She worked in the cafeteria of the Cutter Morning Star School District in the 1960s, Ross Maddox, and a demonstrator of food samples in local grocery stores. She was a loving wife of 59 years and a loving Christian mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, James Marvin Herron, Sr., her parents, brothers Daniel and Vell Savall, and her great-granddaughter Emily Madison Herron. Survivors include five children: Shirley Herron, Stella and Richard Tutt, Linda and Bill Dever, James Jr. and Donna Herron, and Geigy Herron; eight grandchildren: Jimmy Tutt, Pam Tutt, Greg and Staci Tutt, Joe and Angi Herron, Devron Dever, Josh and Kasey Herron, Angela and Jamie Nuckolls, and Julie and Kevin Hamilton; twelve great-grandchildren: Laci and Lexi Tutt, Annalise, Maraelynn, and Blaiden Nuckolls, Ethan, Evan, and Elliot Herron, Zoe and Sam Herron, Gage and Grayson Hamilton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are her son and grandsons: James Herron, Jr., Jimmy Tutt, Greg Tutt, Devron Dever, Joe Herron, and Josh Herron. Honorary pallbearers are charter members and members of Leonard Street Baptist Church, Dr. James Gardner, Marie Ballentine, Tessa Speers, Mindy Widener, Dr. Fred Heinemann and staff, the Cardiac Rehab, ER and 2 East doctors and nurses of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Gross Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Leonard Street Baptist Church with the Reverend Ronny Noles and Reverend Tommy Jones officiating. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery.
