Sherry Monette Hansen

September 16, 1949 - September 11, 2021

Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Monette spent her life traveling the States and the world at large, as often as she could. Beginning early as a child of a military family stationed overseas, through her own military service and adventures as a nursing professional, into her recent retirement, Monette loved to explore this world, learning all she could about the diverse cultures and cuisines she encountered. Cooking was one of her favorite ways to share her travels and her nurturing spirit with those who were lucky enough to gather around her table or work with her, in any capacity.

Monette now dances in the company of angels, including her brothers, Terry Adcox, Ron Adcox, and Cary Adcox. Continuing to celebrate the life she lived and love she shared are her mother, Natalie Adcox; maternal aunts, Paulette Grills and Barbara Treybig; sister, Vicky Eslow; brothers, Clay Adcox and Jim (Emily) Adcox; children, Charlette Squires, Brian (Carolyn) Adams, and Angelia (Joseph) Branch; grandchildren, Dana, Nicole, Derek, Celia, Sadie, Cyrus, Somer, Soren, Shae, and Joey; great grandchildren, Kailee, Michael, Marissa, Gavin, Kanton, Emma, and Carter; as well as so many more family and friends around the world.

Viewing, Service and Reception will be held at Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas on September 21, 2021.

Viewing will begin at 5:00 PM,

Closed Casket Service will begin at 6:00 PM,
