Ray Johnson of Hot Springs passed away Friday, February 23, 2018. Ray was born to the late Alfred and Frieda Lundstrom Johnson in Lowell, Massachusetts on December 27, 1930. The family moved to St. Louis when Ray was seven years old. He worked in St. Louis as an engineer with National Rejectors and when the company moved operations to Hot Springs in 1969, Ray moved with them. Ray chose not to return to St. Louis when National Rejectors did and instead found work at Chamberlain. He retired in 1993.
He was preceded in death by son Michael, two sisters, and four brothers.
Ray is survived by his wife, Ann; daughter, Venicha Horne of Hot Springs; sons Jeff Weathers (Mandy) of Marion, Kentucky and Andy Gordon of Hot Springs Village; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A private celebration of his life will be observed by his family.
