Randy Ray Dickson, 65, of Jessieville, AR went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 5, 2023.
He was born on March 14, 1958, in Hot Springs, AR, the second son of four of Raymond and Dorothy Dickson. He developed lifelong friendships, played basketball, and graduated from Jessieville High School. He had many professions throughout his life but is best known for his exceptional work as a mason. Much of his handiwork can be seen in the Hot Springs Village area, though it extends through and beyond the state.
In his young years Randy met and married his cherished wife of 43 years, Lori Dickson. They had two daughters, Adrienne and Kristen. Randy and Lori provided their children and grandchild, Malachi, all the love, comfort, and stability a family could ask for.
During his life, Randy enjoyed being outside. He could be found tinkering with something, gardening, or landscaping. When he couldn’t be found, he would be off hunting deer or turkey or doing what he most enjoyed, fishing.
Randy did everything with honesty and integrity. He had care and compassion and always made time to help others. He had strong values, insightful wisdom, and was liked by everyone. He was known figure in the community and respected member of Jessieville Church of God.
Our brother has reached the end of his earthly toils, the brittle thread which bound him to earth has been severed and his liberated spirit winged in flight to the everlasting world. The silver cord is loosened…the spirit has returned to God who gave it. Randy would want everyone to rejoice in his awaited homecoming. He is now reunited with his parents, Raymond and Dorothy and his eldest brother Michael. He leaves behind a lifetime of love for is surviving wife Lori, daughters Adrienne and Kristen, brothers Ricky (Carol) and Mark, grandson Malachi, and many great friends.
Family and friends will remember Randy as a hardworking, loyal, man of faith who lived his life laying rock that built solid long-lasting foundations, brought beauty to the landscape of time, and instilled pillars of strength in the lives of others.
Please take time to share stories, post pictures, or mention fond memories of Randy. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
