Patricia Ann Wendt

Patricia Ann Wendt (Smith) born June 23, 1945, passed into the everlasting loving arms of her Creator on January 4, 2024. She leaves her grieving husband Richard Wendt of 51 years, two brothers, Roger Smith of Chesterfield, Missouri and Stephen Smith of Mooresville, Indiana. In addition, there are numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Geneva Eloise Smith and father Andrew Jackson Smith.

Patricia was an accomplished person of integrity, loyal beloved friend with many close friends of her years at Missouri Division of Family Services of 22 years. She was the office manager of the local DFS office for several years. She retired due to health issues in 1999. She was a top graduate of Missouri State University in 1984.

Patricia was a loyal member of the First Baptist Church and had many friends there where she found her final church home in 2011. She will be greatly missed by many here where she and Richard moved in 2011.
