Patricia S. Russo left her earthly existence behind Wednesday, April 13 of this year at the age of 73 years young, in Hot Springs. Everyone who knew her and were blessed enough to love her and be loved by her understand our world lost a beautiful, kind, compassionate, and giving woman who had a wonderful sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and a vibrant and vital life spirit. All of her life she worked hard, yet enjoyed her service to others, particularly in her first career as a waitress. Her children were her deepest loves, followed by her housemate of several years, her dogs, cat, and even a goldfish. Through the years, she also collected and cherished grandbabies. Pattie had infinite love for those she cared about in her life, including many pets of fur, fins, or feathers. She also enjoyed being creative in the kitchen and could out-cook any TV chef.
Pattie was predeceased by her parents Michael and Helen Rose Russo, her beloved son Dudley Mehrmanesh, and most of her siblings. She leaves surviving her absence her elder daughter and son-in-law Diane and Jack Lopez, Darice Lesure her younger daughter with partner Latoya Shannon, grandchildren Reza, Corey, Nicholas, Neena, Cadence, and Isabella, and Great Grandmother to Vincenzo, all of Chicago, IL. Her sole Arkansas survivor, her “roomie” is Miss Darby (Herborn) as Pattie always called her.
Services are being held by Gross Funeral Home, Friday, April 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. Post service is a buffet at The World Buffet, Pattie’s favorite restaurant. Please come and share your Pattie stories with her family and many friends.
