Opal loved to be outside. She enjoyed camping and fishing when she was able to. Watching the hummingbirds come to the feeders brought her joy. She could watch them for hours. She also enjoyed sewing and quilt making in her younger years and at the end of the day would relax by watching her favorite shows.
Opal was a loving mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Opal is predeceased by her parents, two brothers, four sisters, husband Floyd Hulsey Sr., son Donnie, daughters Sharon Houston and Brenda Shuffler, grandson Derek, and great-grandson Marcus Talley.
She is survived by her son Floyd (Ruby) Hulsey Jr., daughters Helen Garrett and Teresa (Bud) Keene, three sisters, eleven grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 starting at 10:00am at Oak Hill Cemetery in Hot Springs, Arkansas with Pastor Roger Reed Officiating. An online guest book will be available at www.GrossFuneralHome.com
