Nancy Richardson

Nancy Ann (Cain) Richardson, 84, a resident of Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, Illinois passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017. Nancy was born July 23, 1934 in Wausau, Wisconsin to Lily and Fred True, and lived for many years in Hot Springs, AR.

Nancy is survived by her children, Carl (Merilee) Cain of Mitchell, SD, Fred (Lisa) Cain of Texarkana, AR, Robert Alan (Lea) Cain of Galesburg, IL and Cheryl Jo (Rod) Stickle of Mokena, IL, eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Catherine True.

Nancy was quick with a grin, a goofy phrase or even a sarcastic remark. She was a caregiver for the elderly, drove a school bus, and sold ice cream from a “ding-a-ling” truck. She loved teddy bears, cats, music, singing, men, reading, and Easter sunrise service up on the mountain.
