Minnie Bea Thomas, 67, of Hot Springs passed away surrounded by family on November 5, 2016. Minnie was the eighth child born to the late Gilbert and Hazel Leavitt in rural Yell County. Her parents were the example of love and strength which molded Minnie into the strong, loving mother and caretaker she came to be. She has been reunited with her sons, Charlie and Raymond II. Cherishing her memory is her husband of many years, Raymond. Raymond III and Christie Fortner will miss their mother’s warmth and kindness. Minnie’s grandma hugs will be remembered by her granddaughters, Candice and Chastity. Joseph and Bryson will learn of their great grandma’s strength and love from family stories and shared memories. Minnie also leaves behind her beloved bird, “Sweetie Pie” and dog, “Bear.”
