She was a member of Emblem Club, Bells and Bows, Nightcappers, Hot Springs Country Club Women’s Golf Association, and Hot Springs Welcome Committee.
She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband James F Gibbs; and son Charles Stanley Bishop.
She is survived by daughter Iris (Ed) Fason; son Alan W. (Lisa) Bishop; twin sister Martha E. Kinnaird; 7 stepchildren, 25 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, several cousins, and many, many good friends.
A Visitation will be held at Gross Funeral Home on Friday, October 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Arkadelphia, on Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Norman Carter.
Pallbearers will be Alan Bishop, Ed Fason, Brent Fason, Malcolm Stone, Bob Fason, and Jody Sheets. Honorary pallbearers are Chad Bishop, Steve Kelly, Sonny Westbrook, Dr. Larry Stanley, Dr. John Bond, and Austin Long.
