She was born on December 14, 1932 in Hot Springs, the daughter of the late Clarence Joseph Horner Jr. and Joneye Leeper Horner. Margaret was a faithful member of St. John’s Catholic Church and later St. Mary’s. She enjoyed going to church, traveling, and teaching. Over the years, Margaret made a difference in the lives of her children and the many children whom she taught at Central Junior High and Lakeside. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory are her six children: Laura Anderson (Wayne), Karen Urankar (John), George G. Vaught, Jr., Janet Henley, John Vaught and Amy Earls (James); seven grandchildren, Logan Anderson (Katie), Neil Anderson (Kimi), Corey Anderson, Lorraine Kenly (Jerry), Sarah Henley, Mollie Price (Jeff), and Sydney Vaught; five great-grandchildren, Camille Margaret Anderson, Charlotte Anderson, Lathan Kenly, Nolan Kenly, and Davis Price; two brothers, Charles Horner and CJ Horner III; one sister, Deborah Horner, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of students and friends.
Margaret's Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Garvan Woodland Gardens, Hot Springs.
