He is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Harrington.
Those left cherishing his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Jannie; sons, Mike and wife Kristie, Cody and wife Alicia, both of Royal; daughter, Amber and husband Jonathan Overton of Owensville; four grandchildren, Kalie Jones, Matthew Harrington, Andrew and Allie Overton; one great grandchild, Laikyn Jones-Slagle; two sisters, Barbara and Carolyn; one brother, Charles and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him.
A visitation service for Loyd will take place in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home between 5-7 p.m., on Friday, April 24. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home with Brother Van Glidewell officiating.
