LINDA (GABLE) YEARGIN was born in Gaffney, South Carolina on June 16, 1943, but lived most of her life in Grove Community near Iva, SC and graduated from Crescent High School in 1961. Linda graduated to her heavenly home on April 17, 2024, with her husband of 61 years, JOE YEARGIN, by her side.
Linda lived a fruitful life of service to her family and to the Lord Jesus Christ. She selflessly served as a missionary wife and “mom” to countless numbers of Airmen while serving for 40 years with Missions To Military in North Carolina and Arizona. To know her was to love her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Bryan Yeargin (Cheryl), Jonathan Yeargin, and Jennifer Moix; grandchildren Ashton, Weston, Emily, and Savannah; great grandchildren Anna, Ezra, Silas, Kennedy and Olivia.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Ashton Yeargin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday April 23, 2024, at Gross Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs, AR. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the many who cared for her on 5 East at CHI Saint Vincent Hospital and the loving staff of Belvedere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We would like to extend a special thanks to RaSheda from A Place At Home for the many hours spent caring for and loving Linda.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Linda’s memory to Missions To Military, P. O. Box 6, Norfolk, VA 23501.
