Katherine graduated from Hot Springs High School and attended North Texas State University. She had a long career in the banking industry, retiring from Arkansas Bank and Trust (Regions Bank). She enjoyed her retirement years at Country Club Village playing cards and volunteering with National Park Medical Center Auxiliary. She was an active member and officer of Pilot Club International.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband Tommy Baldwin, LT, USN; sister Anne Copeman; nephew Buck Freeman; and son-in-law Gene Riley.
She is survived by her daughters and son, Lisa Riley of Milwaukee, WI; Karen “K-K” Montgomery (James) of Hot Springs; and John Dale (Jennifer) of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Ryan Montgomery, Katherine Montgomery, Nathan Riley, and Emory Dale; brother-in-law Jack Copeman; and two nieces Kathy Freeman and Jamie Lax (Alan).
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2 PM, St Luke's Episcopal Church, 228 Spring St, Hot Springs with Rev. Dee Stayton and Rev. CB Baker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St Luke’s Episcopal Church Outreach Program, P.O. Box 1117, Hot Springs, AR 71902.
The family is truly grateful for the unconditional care and love that Katherine received from National Park Medical Center and Belvedere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
