Karen Tate, age 67, of Hot Springs, died February 14, 2021 at CHI St Vincent Hospice in Hot Springs. She was born and grew up in Camden, a '71 graduate of Fairview H.S. She was best known for her energetic, fun, and loving spirit, her infectious personality and laugh, and her love for animals, especially her cats. She worked for many years at Hot Springs Animal Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Nell and Frank Tate, sister, Zelda Ferguson, brother, Mike Tate, nephew, Michael Farrar, and her husband of many years, David McDougal.
She's survived by three sisters and four brother-in-laws, Linda Wilson (Benny) of Hot Springs, Debbie Hutton (Bill) of Springdale, Tammy Rankin (Terry) and brother-in-law, Sonny Ferguson, and several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID and the inclement weather, no services are planned at this time.
