Joseph Edward Brock, Sr., 83, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 13, 2019.
He was born April 18, 1936 in Nathan, Arkansas to the late John D. & Ruby Annabelle Brock.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, Heavy Weapon Infantryman, Heavy Mortar Company, 29th Infantry, and the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal.
He was preceded in death by one sister, four brothers and a grandson Ryan David.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Brock; daughter Sheila Lacy; sons Joseph Brock and Larry Brock, all of Hot Springs; 3 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Deck Brock, of Tulsa, OK; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
