Jay Maner, 62, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away December 29th, 2014. He was born October 31st, 1952 in Hot Springs, to the late John Virgil and Edna Sorter Maner. Jay was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved entertaining his friends, being a musician, especially drumming. He was a member of Woodmen of the World, and past deputy sheriff for Garland County. In addition to his parents, Jay is preceded in death by his daughter, Teena Maner; and granddaughter, Tiffany Paige Koonce. Cherishing his memory are his wife of 31 years, Briget Scott Maner; three daughters, Barbara Radic (Mike), Angela Maner (Terry Homan), and Amy Killough (Mike); eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of friends that will miss him deeply. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home with Brian Ferrell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Peak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Friday at Gross Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Terry Homan, Mike Killough, Mike Radic, Clint Triplett, Bill Bagby, and John Dean.
