She was preceded in death by her parents, husband J.B. Hendrix, son J.R. Hendrix, and great- grandson T.J. Smith.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Chester Shaw; son, Donnie (Lisa) Hendrix of Hampton; daughter, Linda (Carroll) Ross; and sons, Gene (Joyce) Hendrix and Ricky (Pat) Hendrix, all of Hot Springs. She also leaves behind grandchildren Dee Ann Smith, John Hendrix, Darlene Johnson, Diana Wolfe, Jessie Hendrix, Josh Hendrix, Jake Hendrix all of Hot Springs, as well as, Krisaundra Qualls of Royal, Jeremy Hendrix of Longview, Texas, Anthony Hendrix of Paragould, and Dawn Hopper of Hampton, Arkansas. Hazel had also been blessed with nineteen great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. Step-children Pam (Loyd) Wynn of Mt. Ida and Gary (Toni) Shaw of Hot Springs.
Hazel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved singing and listening to Southern Gospel Music. Her sweet voice and smile will be missed by many. Because of her love and faithfulness to her Savior, she will be joined in Heaven by most of her family and friends.
Pallbearers will be John Hendrix, Josh Hendrix, Jeremy Hendrix, Anthony Hendrix, Jake Hendrix, D.J. Neighbors, Peyton Qualls, and Cole Smoke.
