Mr. Gary Lee Pickens

Gary Lee. Pickens, 63 of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away September 16th, 2014. He was born September 11th, 1951 in Stoddard, Missouri to Billy Ralph and Wanda Hunt Pickens. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Jean Pickens Hall, and three grandchildren, Christopher, Trisha, and Shantell Cox. Survivors include his mother, Wanda Pickens; brother, Charlie Pickens; life partner, Debbis Guthrie; daughter, Davina Mitchell; two sons, Chris Cox (Kelly), Brain Cox (Shree); step son, Chris Hodges; seven grandkids; one great-grandson; four nieces; and a host of friends that will miss him greatly. He was a great man and hard worker. He enjoyed fishing, mowing his yard, and anything outdoors. Gary worked as a painter in Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village. His life will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M., Saturday September 20th, 2014 in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home.
