Ernest "Butch" Leo Bailey

Butch was the fourth of seven children born to the late William Thomas and Mary Alice Holder Bailey.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela; and brother, Charles.

Butch was a well-loved groomer who followed the horse-racing circuit for many years. He was known for his wild horse stories, occasional jokes, love of a good prank, singing- whenever anyone would let him, and most especially his generous heart. Butch loved his family and was adored by his friends.

Butch will be missed most by his daughter, Tammy Sheely (Shawn)of Indiana; his grandchildren, Alison and Anthony, whose pictures and laughter brought Butch so much joy; his Michigan children, Mark and Wanda, whom he thought about everyday; his siblings Dosha, Brenda, Tom, Glen and Dallas; his sister-in-law Rosa; and his many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate Butch’s life will be held August 1, 2020 at 11 am at the Salvation Army Church, 115 Crescent Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901.
