Dorothy Irene Summers, 87, a longtime resident of Hot Springs left this earth to return to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 20. She was born April 21, 1928. She battled COPD, heart blockages and repeated pneumonia episodes for several years. When she passed she was just finishing a three week physical therapy at Lake Hamilton Health and rehab. She had only the best things to say about the rehab she received and described her stay as some of the best times she had had in years. Her family wishes to thank the staff for their care and friendship they showed during her stay. Ms. Summers is survived by her daughter and only child, Jamie Sorters Ashley; her grandchildren Anjanette Kreulen, Jason Sorters, and Jared sorters; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grand daughter. The family will be having a private memorial at a later date.
