Dawn Michelle "Chelle" Price gained her angel wings on October 11, 2024, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 52. Born on November 16, 1971, in Benton, Arkansas, she was a cherished daughter, devoted mother, loving grandmother, and a true friend to many.
Michelle was preceded in death by her beloved husband of seventeen years, Martin Henry Price; her parents, Joy Juanita Yandell and Sammy Gene Yandell, Sr.; brothers Forrest Yandell, Gaylon Yandell, and Neal Hughes; sister Joyce Bilbrey; and nephew Josh Hughes.
She is survived by her children, Jake (Kelli) LaRue and Jarvis (Amber) LaRue, Trent (Gina) Price, Trena (Billy) Beaton, and Tara (Orlando) Boyd; her brothers Dennis Hughes, Rusty (Liz) Hughes, Tony Hughes, Sam (Becky) Yandell, and Wes Yandell; as well as her beloved grandchildren: Adrianna, Aaliyah, Jerrod, Jett, Allison, Madelyn, and Jaxon LaRue, Trye Price, Courtney (Brandon) Allen, Brianna (Ian) Horton, Makayla Brown, Orianna and Tiara Boyd, and five great-grandchildren. She is also remembered by the father of her children, Jimmy LaRue, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michelle was a woman of faith, illuminating the lives of those around her with her selfless spirit. She was a ray of sunshine, always ready to serve others, even at her own expense. Her infectious laughter and joyous presence could uplift anyone’s spirits. Throughout life’s challenges, Michelle remained steadfastly optimistic, embodying her faith in the Lord with grace and strength.
As a devoted Ma to her sons, Jake and Jarvis, she fostered a nurturing environment that allowed them to thrive during their childhood and remained a constant throughout their adult lives. Their relationships blossomed into beautiful friendships as the years went by. As an involved MeMaw, she welcomed her grandchildren with open arms, showering them with patience, kindness, and love. From building "kitty houses" to making the best homemade vegetable soup, she knew how to make you feel loved and welcome.
Michelle will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Inspired by the words of Mark 10:45, she lived a life of service and love, exemplifying the true essence of love as described in 1 Corinthians 13.
"Goodbyes are not forever; they are not the end. It simply means I’ll miss you until we meet again." — Unknown
