The fond memories I have of Bruce go back to our high school days -- a smile on his face and a laugh in his voice.  He was such a good friend -- loyal, trustworthy, dependable, a great sense of humor, humble and quick to laugh at himself and just a bit adventuresome.
Rest in peace friend, you've earned it.

All the Shawver family have my deepest sympathy.  While my relationship with Bruce was modest, I enjoy knowing him through the rich stories Judy and Dan share about their lives with him.  A warm, charming and dedicated father, the best of Bruce lives on through his children, grandchildren and all those who knew him well.  Godspeed.

Bruce was truly a gentleman.  Always kind and friendly with a great smile.  I enjoyed all the time I got to spend with him, and will dearly miss him!  Sending my love and prayers to BJ and "the girls".
