Job 19:25-27
But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!
We regretfully announce the passing of our beloved Anna O’Neal. Anna passed away on December 12th at the early age of 46 after a long hard fight with cancer. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.
Anna held a nursing career of 24 years where she was an excellent nurse and human being, she was the most caring person with a heart of gold, she cared for all her patients like they were her own family she was always quick to offer help or support to anyone in need. She was a ray of sunshine, and one of the kindest people on this earth. She always went above and beyond for family and friends and they knew that they could always count on her for a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear or whatever their needs might be Anna would comfort them.
Anna is survived by her husband Aric O’Neal and their four children Emerson Osborn, Lynnleigh O’Neal, Hailey O’Neal and Austin O’Neal, one nephew Oliver Popp, one sister Jessica Popp, mother Carla Thompson, and father Robert Thompson.
Those who knew Anna will remember her for her infectious smile and laughter, her faith in Jesus, and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
To further her impact her family and friends have set up a scholarship in her name called the “Serve like Anna scholarship” so that she will continue to help and support nurses to come in the future, the Family asks in lieu of flowers please donate to her scholarship instead.
