Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Francisco and Oralia Olivares; a sister, Eloise Salinas; four brothers, Jose, Benito and Ralph Salinas and Francisco Olivares,Jr.; and numerous friends, nieces and nephews from Hope Mills, NC.
Sam was a well known and loved young man, He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, deep sea fishing and all kinds of competitive sports somehow always finding himself placing in the top 5. His exploits with a rod and reel, not only for the quantity but the size of the fish he caught will be talk about for years to come. His skill and patience in thw woods especially with black powder rifle were unrivaled landing many deer and bear along the way.
A Visitation with Family & Friends will be held at Reeves Funeral Home on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 5-8 P.M. with a Rosary Service to be held during this time. The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at a time to be decided. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
