Richard Paul Phillips

Richard is survived by his children: Rachel Fossum, Levi, Josiah, and Zane Phillips. Two granddaughters: Arya and Mariella Jo. He is also survived by Jill, the mother of his children, and his two brothers: John (Dianne) and Dave (Donna) Phillips and sister-in-law, Janet Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Lois Phillips of Ridgeley, WV and his brother, Jim Phillips of Ridgley, WV.

Richard was an audiologist at the VA Hospital where he exhibited the perfect combination of excellent professional skill with a genuine heart of service. He was generous and caring to all he met. He had an immense passion for his family, friends and music. We will miss his ability to make everyone laugh through his funny stories and his life's experiences.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

A celebration of life for Richard will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, P.O. Box 64, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348.
