Mrs. Patricia Benoy “Memaw” Black, 76, of 2908 Belgian Avenue, Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her children, Matthew Black, Athena Thomsen, and Jeannie Scott; sister, Cecilia Benoy; and brother, George Benoy; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at Reeves Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Southview Presbyterian Church, Hope Mills with Rev. Thomas Brown officitating.
She will be laid to rest in Cumberland Memorial Gardens following the service.
