Nina Starling Riojas

Nina was a homemaker and loved God, her children, and grandchildren dearly. In her travels over the world, she met and made many friends. She loved her church which she was a member of for 70 years. She was an ordained minister in The Church of God of Prophecy. She is now teaching angels how to sing.

She was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her daughter, Lydia Riojas; her parents, Wade and Lueora Starling; her brothers, Samuel "Delen" Starling and Paul E. Starling; and her sister Hilda Beckham.

She leaves behind her legacy in her husband of 62 years, Alberto Riojas; her daughters, Anna Riojas, Theresa Riojas, Kenda Riojas, Anita Riojas, and Paula Hernandez (Tony); her grandchildren, Benjamin Bass (Meagan), Jordan Riojas (Kristi), Madison Hair-Dillard (Stephen), Colby Hernandez, Collin Hernandez, and Alexander Mayers; her great-grandchildren, Samuel, Dean, Asher, Aidan, Isabella, Amos, Isaiah, Asa, and Ezekiel; her brother, Howard Starling; her sister, Patsy Aguilar; her sister in love, Shirley Starling White; her daughter in love, Beth Watson; and her sons in love, Paul Mayers and Ben Bass.

A visitation with family & friends for Nina will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. Burial will occur Monday, January 9, 2023 at Rockfish Memorial Park, 4017 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
