She was born on January 4, 1953, in Robeson County, NC, to the late Donald and Naomi Cox Worley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday, May 3, 2013 at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Burgette leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James Burgette; daughters, Sherry Hobbs, Teresa Barnes, and Candice Burgette; adopted son, Joshua Burgette; grandchildren, Joshua Burgette, Cody Hobbs, Brooke Hobbs, Brittany Jacobs, Makayla Jacobs, Caitlin Barnes, and Cameron Barnes; great granddaughter, Adrianna Carol Burgette; and brothers, Johnny L. Worley and Gary W. Worley.
Mrs. Burgette was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
