Miriam was a loving and caring woman who would help anyone in need, but she would never ask for help herself. In fact, she had to leave school at an early age to help with her family. She was the talk of the town with her fashionable attire, especially in church. She loved crafts, especially sewing. She even made a lot of her childrens' clothing. She loved to decorate especially for church events and parties. She was a good cook, and was famous for her budin. She was a homemaker and kept an immaculate house, all the clothes ironed, and the meals were cooked to perfection. She enjoyed watching Benny Hill, The Carol Burnette Show, and The Three Stooges. Much to her husband's chagrin, she had a huge crush on Tom Seleck.
Miriam leaves behind her husband, Ramon Juarbe-Mendez; her children, Framir Zoe Guevara (Milton), Zaddy W. Juarbe (Jeff Walsh), and Nomar Joel Juarbe (Afton Pitts); her siblings, Rufo Rigual, Nilda Rigual, Luis Rigual, Carlos Rigual, Ivette Rigual, Hilda Rigual, Mildred Rigual, Roberto Rigual, and Sonia Rigual; 7 grandchildren; her fur grandchild, Oreo; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Miriam's family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Reeves Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Reeves Funeral Home. A private burial will take place on a later date at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
