Mike is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Linda New Hollingsworth and his children Richard Martin Jr. (Michalla Musselwhite), and Rachael Ray (Billy); his brothers Steve Hollingsworth (Irena), Eric Hollingsworth (Paula), and Guerin Hollingsworth (Wendy); as well as three nieces and a nephew. He loved being “Papaw” to Leo and several foster children in his family.
Mike’s family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday July 6, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday July 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Reeves Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
