Mary Ryan Cunard, age 69, of Hope Mills, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Mary was a wonderful woman who had a special place in her heart for animals. She was always finding ways to help animals in need. She donated regularly to the ASPCA as well as the Cumberland County Animal Shelter. She loved music and she was also a good cook.
Mary is preceded in death by her father, Robert Salinis and her sister, Peggy Salinis. She was also met at the Gates of Heaven by her dog, Smokey.
Mary is survived by her husband, George Cunard, who she spent 30 wonderful years sharing her life with. She also leaves behind her step son, Christopher Cunard; her mother, Mary Christensen; her sister, Jean Lauschin; a very special nephew, Eric Salinis and his wife, Tonya; as well as a host of other family and friends. She will also be greatly missed by her cat, Sampson.
