Joseph Livingston Smith

Joe was a patriot through and through. He served our great nation in the United States Army. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed being outside. His favorite pastimes were shooting firearms and fishing. He loved to eat good food and was happiest when spending time with his family and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Delma Gray King, and his favorite dog, Champ. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Welker Smith; his daughter, Ann Marie Smith; his grandchildren, Ashley Marie Smith (Brian) and Mickey Joseph McDaniel (Elizabeth), and a great-grandchild, Samuel Preston McDaniel; his brother, Charles Wayne Smith (Margie); a special nephew, David G. Smith; as well an numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Joseph will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, P.O. Box 64, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. Following the funeral service will be a burial at 3:00 PM at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina 28409.
