Joann Waugh

Originally from Huntington, WV, she and her family moved to Hope Mills in June of 1983.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 71 years, Robert “Bobby” Waugh, also from Huntington, WV. They were married on January 1, 1952. She also leaves behind 3 children: Michael Waugh (wife Katie), Patrick Waugh (wife Kressy) and daughter Karen Waugh Ansley (husband Craig). She was proceeded in death by her youngest son, David Waugh (wife Tammi). She was also the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren: Courtney Waugh LaZette (husband Bryan), Connor Waugh, Tyler Waugh, Spencer Waugh, Katelynn Waugh, Emily Ansley, Robbie Ansley, Jodi Ansley and Maddie Waugh.

JoAnn was a devoted and loved wife, mother and grandmother, raising 2 Marines and 2 redheads. She worked disaster relief for FEMA for many years and worked locally at Lithotripsy in Fayetteville. JoAnn was outgoing and very fashionable and loved visiting with her friends.
