James Francis Higgins

James Francis Higgins, age 67, of Raeford, North Carolina received his wings on October 3, 2023, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Jim was born January 23, 1956 in Long Island, New York. He grew up in Dalton, Massachusetts and graduated in 1974 from Wahconah High School.

Jim was a gentle soul, hard worker, animal lover, and family man. Jim enjoyed bowling, his nickname was "Silver Bullet" due to the amazing spin he could put on the ball. Jim enjoyed going to antique car shows, motorcycle driving, watching a good fireworks show, and spending time with family.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents Mary "Frances" and Walter Higgins Jr; his brother in law, John Becker, and his son in law Jimmy Enfinger.

Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Maureen Higgins; his daughters, Ann Rollins and Jennifer Enfinger; his son, Jason Rollins and his wife, Blossom; his grandsons, Matthew and Michael and Logan Rollins; his sister Mary Becker; his two brothers Walter Tom Higgins and Michael Higgins; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He also leaves behind his life-long friend, John Hallock.
